Meet Rev. Dr. Nora Colmenares
Rev. Dr. Nora Colmenares was born and raised in Venezuela. She holds two master’s degrees in New Testament and Theology from Northern Baptist Theological Seminary and Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary, a Doctorate of Ministry from Drew University, and a graduate certificate in Nonprofit Management and Social Enterprise from Georgia State University.
For the past four years, Rev. Dr. Colmenares has served as the Executive Pastor of The Nett Church. Prior to that, she was a Senior Manager with the United Methodist General Board of Global Ministries, focusing on mission engagement, congregational strategy, and community engagement. She also spent over a decade as Associate Director of the Office of New Church Development of the North Georgia Conference, developing new ministries with immigrant communities, and as Associate Director of Wesley Community Center in Atlanta.
Nora is passionate about developing multicultural, multiethnic churches, learning in community, and creating spaces to cross societal barriers and build relationships. She is married to Rev. Frank Windom (ret.), and they have three adult daughters and a grandson.

Fun Facts About Nora:
- Adventurer: I love adventure experiences like ziplining, white water rafting, hot air ballooning, fly fishing, sailing, skiing, whale watching, flying in an open cockpit biplane, and helicopter rides.
- Traveler and Reader: I enjoy traveling, reading, and cooking.
- Chocolate Lover: I have a particular fondness for dark chocolate.
